This scarf was my road trip project. While my husband was driving, I was making this beautiful scarf.

For this scarf I was using two patterns. The pattern for the scarf itself is from Ravelry.
Also I was using the idea of Self-Fringing Scarf by Jeanne Steinhilber.

I had 2 skeins of Caron Cakes yarn in Lemon Lime color. I was changing color every row by using yarn from both ends. Because the Lemon Lime yarn skein that I used had more Lemon color then other shades of green, I was using Lemon color in every other row. Between rows in Lemon color I was using darker shades of green from another end of the first skein and from both ends of the second skein.

At some point I had Lemon color at the end of each skein, so I had to unwind Lemon color in to a small separate ball until I reached the darker green color. For this scarf I’ve used about 1-1/3 skeins of Caron Cakes.

At the end I tied on extra fringes.
