Rnd 2. Ch 3, in top of first St of previous Row make HDC and DC, 3 TR in next St, 2 DC in next St, HDC into each of next 4 Sts, Ch 1, DC in next St (Heart point), HDC in Ch-1, HDC into each of next 3 Sts, 2 DC in next St, 3 TR in next St, DC and HDC in next St, Ch 3, Sl St in center, cut the yarn leaving about 5” tail, draw tail through the loop and pull tight.
Rnd 3. Join Color 2 into the center of the Heart, Ch 3, SC in top of first St of previous round, 2 SC in each of next 4 Sts, then SC in each of the next 7 Sts, Ch 1, DC in next St (Heart point), Ch 1, SC in each of the next 7 Sts, 2 SC in each of next 4 Sts, SC in next St, Ch 3, Sl St in center, cut the yarn leaving about 5” tail, draw tail through the loop and pull tight.
Finishing: you can fasten off and weave in the ends or you can leave them hanging out as I did. I just secured them by making two knots from the back side of the Heart. You can gently iron your hearts using thin cotton fabric or cheese cloth between the iron and the hearts.
Enjoy your Hearts!
