Squash Caviar (Kabachkovaja Ikra in Russian) was one of the most popular canned vegetables that you could buy in the store. It was cheap and always available. The squash caviar is still one of the most favorite foods of Russian people.
Squash Caviar is great warm as a side dish or cold as a dip or spread.
