Crochet Wall Art – Winter

Winter Crochet Wall Art

What do you associate with winter? For me it is blue sky and sparkling white snow, falling snowflakes which you can catch with your hand, sleeping nature covered with a white cozy snow blanket, and of course, Christmas and New Year.

For this Winter Wall Art project you just need to crochet a tree and a lot of small snowflakes. Paint a canvas in some shade of light blue and then glue your tree and snowflakes to the canvas.

I was using snowflakes patterns from the book “White Christmas in Thread Crochet” by Kathryn Clark.

I was choosing small snowflakes in diameter 2-3/4” the biggest.

Materials: For the tree I’ve used crochet cotton threads size 3 and and for the snowflakes – size 10.   For the background  I’ve used 9 x12  canvas frames from the Michaels craft store.Crochet Wall Art – Fall

Pattern for the Tree which I was using for this Crochet Wall Art can be found in my Etsy shop.
