Fall is a favorite time of year in our family. Birthdays, holidays, gorgeous fall leaves, cooler weather – all these things make Fall a very special season. This crochet wall art was created in admiration of the Fall season.
It is my third Fall crochet wall art. The first two are beautiful crochet wall hangings for the Maple Tree and Oak Tree.
For this wall art I’ve used my crochet leaves, which are very easy to make.
So for this crochet wall art you need to crochet a tree and a lot of leaves in different colors – red, yellow, orange. Then glue the tree and leaves to the canvas.
Materials: For the tree I’ve used crochet cotton threads size 3 in brown and for the leaves crochet cotton threads size 10. You can experiment with different yarns and hook sizes to achieve different looks. For the background I’ve used 9 x12 canvas frame from the Michaels craft store.
The pattern for the tree which I was using for this crochet wall art can be found in my Etsy shop.
