It’s a cherry season in the Pacific Northwest and I couldn’t resist making this Cherry Tree Crochet Wall Art.
I love cherries especially the tart ones. Cherry Season is short but this crochet Cherry Tree will have fresh cherries for you forever!

For this crochet Cherry Tree Wall Art, you need to crochet a tree and a lot of cherries with leaves and stems. I made single, double and triple cherries.
Then glue your tree and cherries to the canvas. If you want, you can make a bird as well – see the last image.
(See list of crochet abbreviations used in patterns by yarn industry designers and publishers HERE)

DC – double crochet

Patterns I used for this Crochet Wall Art:
- The Tree pattern is available in my Etsy shop HERE.
- Cherries with leaves and stems.
Make an adjustable ring.
Rnd 1. Ch 2, 8 HDC into the ring. Draw the loop closed. To make it easier to do, first, untwist the tail. Then pull the tail to draw the loop tightly closed. Join with Sl St in top of first HDC. Total – 8 HDC.
Rnd 2. Ch 2, 2 HDC into each St of previous Rnd, join with Sl St in top of first HDC. Total – 16 HDC.
For double leaves and stems follow the Instructions for the Heart Shaped Cherries.
For the single leaf make half of the double Leaf:
Ch 12, Sl St in 2nd Ch from the hook, HDC in each of next 2 Chs, DC in each of next 3 Chs, HDC in each of next 2 Chs, SC in each of next 2 Chs, 3 SC in next (last) Ch; working on opposite side of Ch, SC in each of next 2 Chs, HDC in each of next 2 Chs, DC in each of next 3 Chs, HDC in each of next 2 Chs, Sl St in last Ch.
