I’m Olena, and I’m so excited to share my crochet creations with you. I grew up in Ukraine, where my childhood was filled with the warmth of handmade items crafted by my mom and both of my grandmothers. They taught me how to knit and crochet when I was just a girl, and my very first project was a lovely doily! By the time I turned 15, I had also picked up sewing, and ever since, crafting has been a huge part of my life. I love making special items for my family, friends, and of course, myself!
Now, I call the beautiful Pacific Northwest my home, and I enjoy filling my space with all sorts of handmade treasures. My shop is named after my beloved golden retriever, Lucy, who was my first big dog love. She was my perfect model and inspired many of my crochet designs for dogs. Our current golden retriever, Hazel, is extremely smart but absolutely refuses to be my model.
By education, I am a computer engineer, which helps me count stitches correctly :).
