This crochet Dogwood flower will make a beautiful embellishment and you can use it for any Spring decoration! You can use it to embellish clothes, hats, scarves, anything you like.
These Dogwood flowers will look gorgeous on handmade cards or, you can even make jewelry with them. I used them to make crochet Dogwood Branch wall art.

During the summer, Dogwood trees blend into people’s yards and hardly go noticed. They are just “trees”.
But in the Spring, the Dogwood is a truly magnificent flowering tree! The unique beauty comes not only from the white or pink colors but from the very simple, even primitive flower shape.
I live in an area where dogwoods are blossoming in April – May and the amazing beauty of these trees inspired me to design this crochet dogwood flower.
I hope you will enjoy it and find many ways to use this attractive flower!

I can’t wait to make these beautiful flowers. I’m going to embellish a blouse with a hole in it and this is perfect. My mother had Dogwood trees in her yard as I was growing up and I loved them. Thank you for this pattern.

Hi. How are you doing the little contrasting color stitches in the petal notches? I can’t imagine cutting, knotting and weaving each in.
GoldenLucyCrafts says
Yes, I make a couple of stitches in the notch of every petal separately. It is not so difficult – only 4 petals.
