This idea for a crochet Dogwood branch was inspired by the beauty of one of the most stunning spring trees – the Dogwood tree! We live in an area where Dogwoods bloom from April to May, allowing us to enjoy these spectacular trees each year.

The blossoming season of dogwoods is very brief, lasting only a couple of weeks. After that, they return to being ordinary trees. However, by using a crochet hook and yarn, you can preserve their beauty for much longer.

I enjoy using my crochet appliqués to create wall art, and I decided to make one featuring the Dogwood flowers. Make sure to check out my other crochet wall art ideas as well!
To make this Dogwood branch, you will need to crochet a tree branch and dogwood flowers.

For the Dogwood Flowers:

Other materials:
- For the background I’ve used 9 x12” canvas.
- You will need also a hot glue gun
Once you have completed each crochet piece for your wall art, arrange them on your canvas and glue them in place using a hot glue gun.
