One beautiful thing early spring brings in the area where I live are blossoming trees. In my neighborhood, families seem to like flowering trees a lot as they are everywhere and impossible to miss when they are in bloom.
I am especially fond of blossoming Cherry trees as in the end of March and beginning of April, fluffy pink and white Cherry Blossoms cover the city.
Inspired by that beauty I’ve created my Spring Wall Art – The Cherry Blossom Tree.

I love to use my crochet appliques to create wall arts. On my website, you can find many crochet wall art/wall decor ideas. I hope you will like them and get inspired to create your own crochet art!
For this crochet Spring Wall Art project you just need to crochet a Tree and Cherry Blossoms. Paint a canvas in some shade of light blue and then glue your tree and flowers to the canvas.
Materials I used
For the Tree:
For the cherry blossoms:
- Crochet cotton threads size 10, color – orchid pink for the petals
- Crochet cotton threads size 10, color – burgundy red for the flower center
For the background, I’ve used 9 x12 canvas.
