The scarf is made in soft pink color using combinations of different stitches: single crochet, double crochet, and puff stitch.

Loops & Threads Joy DK, dk #3 weight yarn (3.5 oz/100 g, 273 yds/250 m), 2 balls – Blossom (A), 1 ball – Cloud (B).
Hook & Other Materials:
US Size I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook
US Size 7 (4.5 mm) crochet hook
Sewing needle

Sizes/Finished Measurements:
The scarf is about 7” wide and 57” long
Gauge:
14 dc and 8 rows = 4”/10 cm, however, gauge is not critical.
Notes:
- Similar worsted weight yarns may be substituted.
- Beginning ch-3 counts as 1st dc.
Special stitch:
Puff St (4-hdc puff stitch) = Yarn over, insert hook in indicated stitch. Yarn over again and draw up loop.
There will be three loops on the hook. Repeat three more times.
Each time adds 2 more loops to the hook. There will be 9 loops on the hook.
Yarn over and draw through all loops on hook. You have one loop on hook, ch 1 to secure the puff stitch.
Instructions:
With A and crochet hook 5.5 mm, Ch 31 (this includes 3 extra chains for the turning chain),
Row 1(RS). Dc in 4th ch and in each ch across – 29 dc. Turn.
Row 2. Ch 3, dc in each st across – 29 dc. Turn.
Row 3. Ch 4 (ch 3 as dc and ch 1), skip 1, dc in next, *ch 1, skip 1, dc in next, repeat from * across – 15 dc. Turn.
Row 4. Ch 3, *dc in ch-1 space, dc in next dc, repeat from * across – 29 dc.Turn.
Row 5. Repeat Row 3.
Row 6. Ch 4 (ch 1 as sc and ch 3), puff st in first dc, ch 1, skip 1 dc, sc in next dc, *ch 3, puff st in same, ch 1, skip 1 dc, sc in next, repeat from * across – 7 puff sts. Turn.
Row 7. Ch 4 (ch 3 as dc and ch 1), sc in ch-3 space, ch 1, dc in sc, *ch 1, sc in ch-3 space, ch 1, dc in sc; repeat from * across – 14 ch-1 spaces. Turn.
Row 8. Ch 3, *dc in ch -1 space, dc in next sc, dc in space, dc in next dc, repeat from * across – 29 dc. Turn.
Row 9. Ch 4 (ch 3 as dc and ch 1), skip 1, dc in next, *ch 1, skip 1, dc in next; repeat from * across – 15 dc. Turn.
Row 10-12. Repeat Rows 6-8.
Row 13 -21. Repeat Rows 3-4, ending with a repeat of Row 3.
Rows 22 – 108. Repeat Rows 6-21, ending with a repeat of Row 12.
Rows 109 – 110. Repeat Rows 3-4.
Row 111. Repeat Row 2.
Row 112. Ch 1, sc in first, (sc, ch 3, puff st) in next, ch 1, *skip 3, (sc, ch 3, puff st) in next, ch 1*, repeat from * to last 3, skip 2, sc in last – 7 puff sts.
Fasten off.
With RS face down sl st to other end with yarn tale on left, repeat Row 112, do not fasten off.
Edging
Note: when working along the row ends, work into the spaces between the row-end stitch and next stitch.
[Rotate work, working down long side in row ends, ch 1, 2 sc in each dc and sc in each puff st, rotate work to short side, *sc in first 2, 4 sc in ch-3 space, sc in ch-1 space, sc in next; repeat from * to end] 2 times.Fasten off.
Flowers
Large flower
With B and hook 4.5 mm, ch 5, join to form ring.
Rnd 1. Ch 1, 12 sc into the ring, change color to A, sl st to first st – 12 sc. Do not cut off color B, leave yarn in back.
Rnd 2. Continue with A, ch 1, sc in same, *ch 3, puff st in next, ch 3, sc in next; repeat from * around, join with sl st to first – 6 puff sts. Fasten off color A.
Rnd 3. Pick up color B, (through top of first sc of Rnd 2), *ch 3, sc in top of next puff st, ch 3, sl st in next sc; repeat from * around. Fasten off.
Small Flower
With A and hook 4.5 mm, ch 5, join to form ring.
Rnd 1. Ch 1, 9 sc into ring, join with sl st to first – 9 sc. Fasten off color A.
Rnd 2. With color B, sl st to first sc, *(ch 3, puff st, ch 3, sl st) in same st, skip 1, sl st in next; repeat from *around, last sl st join to first – 5 puff sts. Fasten off.
Finishing:
Make 2 more small flowers using color B for Rnd 1 and color A for Rnd 2.
Embellish flower’s center with beads, sew flowers on scarf.
Weave in all ends.
