Creating crochet autumn leaves is a fun and easy project that doesn’t require a lot of yarn. These leaves are perfect for a variety of fall decorations! You can experiment with different yarns and hooks to achieve various sizes of your leaves.
By applying two different techniques to the pattern, you can create two types of leaves with different appearances, as shown in the picture.
Leaves with a ribbed surface are made by working in the back loops of the stitches, while leaves with a smooth surface are created by working in the usual way under both loops of stitches.

Ch 10;
Row 1. SC in 2nd Ch from hook and in each of next 8 Chs, Ch 2 for central arch, SC into the same last Ch; working on opposite side of Ch, SC in each of next 6 Chs. Turn.
Continue working in back loops only!
Row 2. BLO. Ch 1, skip first SC, SC in each of next 6 SC, SC in first Ch of Ch-2 arch, Ch 2 for central arch, SC in second Ch of Ch-2 arch, SC in each of next 7 SC, turn.
Row 3. BLO. Ch 1, skip first SC, SC in each of next 7 SC, SC in first Ch of Ch-2 arch, Ch 2 for central arch, SC in second Ch of Ch-2 arch, SC in each of next 5 SC. Turn.
