On my blog you can find 12 heart-shaped faces, which I designed previously for Valentine’s Day. For my Christmas faces, I used faces that are the most loved by visitors of my blog.
So, for my Christmas faces garland I used a total of six faces: They are: blowing a kiss Santa face, crazy face Reindeer, winking face Elf, heart eyes face, smiling face with hearts, and face with rolling eyes.
Also, here are my other crochet Christmas garland ideas you might like – Reindeer garland, Gingerbread hearts garland, mixed appliques garland, and Christmas Trees and Snowflakes garland.

Materials I used:
For the faces I used medium weight #4 yarn, face’s elements are made from crochet cotton thread size 10.
Also, I used 1-inch craft clothespins.
Patterns I used:
For this crochet garland I used the following patterns, which are available on this website for free:

Instructions:
1. Make all pieces.
For my garland, I’ve made six faces. You can always make your garland shorter or longer and adjust the number of pieces as needed.
2. Making a garland.
You have a couple of options on how to make the garland. One option is to crochet a chain and join each piece to the chain as you go with a slip stitch evenly.
You can also crochet a chain first and then carefully sew each piece to this chain.
Also, you can use small 1-inch craft clothespins to hang pieces as I did.
The length of the chain depends on how long you want your garland to be. Leave on each end about 5-7 inches for tying the garland, then arrange the faces.
I hope you enjoyed this crochet Christmas smiley faces garland idea!
Happy Crocheting!
