Using this crochet Heart Christmas Tree crochet pattern, you can make a wonderful little ornament to hang on your Christmas tree, add to your home decor, use for Christmas cards, photo albums, etc.

This Christmas Tree crochet pattern is another addition to my Heart Shaped appliques series. The Christmas tree consists of three hearts in different sizes which are sewed together.

You can make this Christmas Tree crochet pattern with any yarn you like or have. I made my tree with light weight #3 cotton yarn.
You can also embellish your crochet Christmas Tree with beads, buttons, sparkles, or just leave it as is.

Abbreviations:
Ch – chain
DC – double crochet
HDC – half double crochet
Rnd – round
SC- single crochet
Sl St – slip stitch
St (Sts) – stitch (stitches)
TR – treble crochet
Finished Size:
This crochet Christmas Tree applique is about 3″ (7.5 cm) tall.
Materials:
- Patons Grace yarn (100% mercerized cotton), color – Ginger
- Patons Grace yarn (100% mercerized cotton), color – Aquifer
- Patons Grace yarn (100% mercerized cotton), color – Lotus
- Crochet hook 1/2.75 mm
- Beads, buttons, sparkles – optional

Instructions:
1. Make three hearts – Large, Medium, and Small (see also Instructions for the Crochet Hearts Applique Pattern).

Small Heart
Ch 4;
Rnd 1. Make all of the next stitches into the fourth Ch from hook (the first Ch made) working under both loops – 3 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC (Heart point), Ch 1, 3 HDC, 3 DC; Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Fasten off.
Medium Heart
Ch 4;
Rnd 1. Make all of the next stitches into the fourth Ch from hook (the first Ch made) working under both loops – 3 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC (Heart point), Ch 1, 3 HDC, 3 DC; Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Rnd 2. Ch 3, SC in first St, 2 SC in each of next 2 Sts, SC in each of next 3 Sts, SC in Ch-1 St, Ch 1, DC in next St (Heart point), Ch 1, SC in Ch-1 St, SC in each of next 3 Sts, 2 SC in each of next 2 Sts, SC in next St, Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Fasten off.
Large Heart
Ch 4;
Rnd 1. Make all of the next stitches into the fourth Ch from hook (the first Ch made) working under both loops – 3 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC (Heart point), Ch 1, 3 HDC, 3 DC; Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Rnd 2. Ch 3, HDC + DC in first St, 3 TR in next St, 2 DC in next St, HDC in each of next 3 Sts, HDC in Ch-1 St, Ch 1, DC in next St (Heart point), Ch 1, HDC in Ch-1 St, HDC in each of next 3 Sts, 2 DC in next St, 3 TR in next St, DC + HDC in next St, Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Rnd 3. Ch 3, SC in first St, 2 SC in each of next 4 Sts, SC in each of the next 6 Sts, SC in Ch-1 St, Ch 1, DC in next St (Heart point), Ch 1, SC in Ch-1 St, SC in each of the next 6 Sts, 2 SC in each of next 4 Sts, SC in next St, Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Fasten off.
3. With a needle and matching color sewing thread sew the hearts together.
4. Now the fun part – embellish your Christmas Tree!
Your Christmas Tree doesn’t have to be green! Make it pink and embellish with some beads!
If you like, you can embellish your Tree with sparkles. Just use tiny dots of hot glue to attach them.
