Abbreviations:

Ch – chain
DC – double crochet
DC2tog – double crochet 2 stitches together
HDC – half double crochet
Rnd – round
SC- single crochet
Sl St – slip stitch
St (Sts) – stitch (stitches)
TR – treble crochet
Finished Size:
Emoji is about 3-1/4″ (8 cm).
Materials:
- worsted medium weight yarn, color – yellow
- crochet hook H/8-5.00 mm or I/9-5.50 mm
- cotton crochet thread size 10, color – blue
- cotton crochet thread size 10, color – black
- crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm

Instructions:
- Make a Large Heart for the Emoji’s face. (see Instructions for the first Emoji HERE )
2. Make Closed Eyes.
Ch 8, working in back ridge – Sl St into 2nd Ch from hook, SC into each of next 2 Chs, 2 SC into next Ch, SC into each of next 2 Chs, Sl St into last St.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
3. Make a Tear.
Make an adjustable ring. Ch 2, 11 HDC into the ring, draw the loop closed. To make it easier to do, first untwist the tail. Then pull the tail to draw the loop tightly closed. Join with Sl St in top of first St. Ch 2, DC2tog over next 2 Sts of the circle, Ch 1.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
4. Make a Closed Mouth.
Ch 8, working in a back ridge – SC into 2nd Ch from the hook and into each Ch to the end.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
5. Sew Eyes, Mouth and Tear on the Emoji’s Face.
