Crochet Blowing a Kiss Heart Face

This crochet Blowing a Kiss (or Kissing Heart) Face is the third face in the first series of six. This face features a winking one eye and smoochy lips blowing a kiss.

Ch – chain

DC – double crochet

HDC – half double crochet

Rnd – round

SC – single crochet

Sl St – slip stitch

St (Sts) – stitch (stitches)

TR – treble crochet

Finished Size:

This face is about 3-1/4″ (8 cm).

Yarn:

• worsted medium weight yarn, color – yellow
• cotton crochet thread size 10, color – red
• cotton crochet thread size 10, color – black

1. With yellow worsted medium weight yarn and crochet hook H/8-5.00 mm or I/9-5.50 mm make a Large Heart for the face (see Instructions HERE).

2. With black cotton crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm make a Round Eye.

Round Eye

Make an adjustable ring;

Round 1. Ch 3, 12 DC into the ring. Draw the loop closed. To make it easier to do, first, untwist the tail. Then pull the tail to draw the loop tightly closed. Join with Sl St in top of Ch 3.

Fasten off and weave in the ends.

3. With black cotton crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm – make a Winking Eye.

Winking Eye

Ch 8, working in back ridge – Sl St into 2^nd Ch from hook, SC into each of next 2 Chs, 2 SC into next Ch, SC into each of next 2 Chs, Sl St into last St.

Fasten off and weave in the ends.

4. With black cotton crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm – make Smoochy Lips.

Smoochy Lips

Ch 16, working in back ridge of the Chain – Sl St into 2^nd Ch from hook, SC into each of next 2 Chs, 3 SC into next Ch, SC into each of next 2 Chs, draw loop through next Ch, skip next Ch, draw loop through next Ch – you have 3 loops on your hook, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops, SC into each of next 2 Chs, 3 SC into next Ch, SC into each of next 2 Chs, Sl St into last Ch.

Fasten off and weave in the ends.

5. With red cotton crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm make a Small Heart.

Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Finishing

Sew Eyes, Lips, and Heart onto the heart Face.
