Crochet Santa Emoji
Instructions:
1. Make the Face (follow the instructions in my previous post HERE)
2. Round Eye
With black cotton crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm, make magic ring,
Rnd 1. Ch 2, 11 HDC in the ring, draw the loop closed. To make it easier to do, first untwist the tail, then pull the tail to draw the loop tightly closed. Join with Sl St in top of Ch 2. Fasten off.
3. Winking Eye
With black cotton crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm, Ch 8;
Row 1. Working in back ridge of the Chain, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook, SC in each of next 2 Chs, 2 SC in next Ch, SC in each of next 2 Chs, Sl St in last St. Fasten off.
4. Smoochy Lips
With black cotton crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm, Ch 16;
Row 1. Working in back ridge of the Chain, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook, SC in each of next 2 Chs, 3 SC in next Ch, SC in each of next 2 Chs, draw loop through next Ch, skip next Ch, draw loop through next Ch – you have 3 loops on your hook, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops,
SC in each of next 2 Chs, 3 SC in next Ch, SC in each of next 2 Chs, Sl St in last Ch. Fasten off.
5. Small Heart
With red cotton crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm, Ch 4;
Rnd 1. Working under both loops, make all of the next stitches in the fourth Ch from hook – 3 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC (Heart point), Ch 1, 3 HDC, 3 DC, Ch 3, Sl St in center. Fasten off.
6. Hat
With white medium weight #4 yarn and crochet hook 5 mm, Ch 10;
Row 1. SC in 2nd Ch from hook and in each next Ch to the end, total – 9 SC. Change color to red (see directions below). Turn.
How to change to a new color
Work the final Stitch with the first color, but do not complete the Stitch. You will have 2 loops remain on the hook. Drop first color and draw through the loops on the hook new color and complete the Stitch.
Row 2. Ch 1 (doesn’t count as a St), SC in each St, total – 9 SC. Turn.
Row 3. Ch 1 (doesn’t count as a St), skip 1st St, SC in next 6, SC2tog, total – 7 Sts. Turn.
Row 4. Ch 1 (doesn’t count as a St), skip 1st St, SC in next, HDC in next, 3 DC in next, HDC in next, SC in next 2, total – 8 Sts. Do not turn, continue working on hat’s end.
Ch 1, rotate your work clockwise 90 degrees, SC into side of the last St of Row 2 (first row in red), Ch 5, Sl St in 2nd Ch from the hook and in next, SC in next 2 Chs, Sl St into last St of Row 2. Fasten off.
Finishing:
Sew eyes, lips and heart on the Emoji’s face. Sew on hat. Embellish the hat with white button.
Crochet Reindeer Emoji
Instructions:
1. Make the Face (follow the instructions in my previous post HERE)
2. Round Eye
With black cotton crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm, make magic ring.
Rnd 1. Ch 2, 11 HDC into the ring. Draw the loop closed. To make it easier to do, first untwist the tail. Then pull the tail to draw the loop tightly closed. Join with a Sl St in top of Ch 2. Fasten off.
Join white crochet cotton thread size 10 to any St of previous Rnd.
Rnd 2. Ch 2, HDC in same St where you joined, 2 HDC in each St around, join with Sl St in top of Ch 2. Fasten off.
3. Winking Eye
With black cotton crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm, Ch 8;
Row 1. Working in back ridge of the Chain, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook, SC in each of next 2 Chs, 2 SC in next Ch, SC in each of next 2 Chs, Sl St in last St. Fasten off.
4. Smile
With black cotton crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm, Ch 14;

With brown medium weight #4 yarn and crochet hook 5 mm,
Left Antler: Ch 10, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook and in next 2 Chs, Ch 3, Sl St in 2nd Ch and in next Ch, Sl St in same Ch where Ch 3 was started, Sl St in next 3 Chs, Ch 3, Sl St in 2nd Ch and in next Ch, Sl St in same Ch where Ch 3 was started, Sl St in next 3 Chs. Fasten off.
Right Antler: Ch 7, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook and in next 2 Chs, Ch 7, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook and in next 2 Chs, Ch 3, Sl St in 2nd Ch and in next Ch, Sl St in same Ch where Ch 3 was started, Sl St in next 7 Chs. Fasten off.
Finishing:
Sew eyes, smile, and tongue on the Emoji’s face, sew on a small red pom pom for the nose, sew on antlers.
Crochet Elf Emoji
Instructions:

5. Hat
With red medium weigh #4 yarn and hook 5 mm, Ch 16;
Row 1. Sl St in 2nd Ch, Sl St in next, SC in next 2, SC4tog, HDC in next, DC in next 3, TR in next 3, Ch 4, Sl St in last Ch.
Do not turn. Continue working on the opposite side of the Chain.

With green medium weight #4 yarn and hook 5 mm, Ch 13;
Row 1. SC in 2nd Ch and in every Ch to the end, total – 12 SC. Turn.
Row 2. *Ch 4, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook, HDC in next Ch, DC in next Ch, skip next St of previous Row, Sl St in next 2 Sts*. Repeat from * to * to the end of this Row, last repeat – make only one Sl St at the end. Fasten off.
7. Hat Brim
With green medium weight #4 yarn and hook 5 mm, Ch 10;
Row 1. SC in 2nd Ch and in every Ch to the end, total – 9 SC. Turn.
Row 2. *Ch 4, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook, HDC in next Ch, DC in next Ch, skip next St of previous Row, Sl St in next 2 Sts*. Repeat from * to * to the end of this Row, last repeat – make only one Sl St at the end. Fasten off.
Finishing:
Sew eyes and a smile on the Emoji’s face. Sew a hat, brim, and collar on. Embellish the hat with a green button.
