These crochet Heart earrings are made from crochet cotton thread and their design is based on my crochet heart applique pattern.
Each earring consists of 6 hearts. The hearts are embellished with seed beads on both sides.

Crochet Heart Earrings – Crochet Pattern

Ch – chain
DC – double crochet
HDC – half double crochet
Rnd – round
SC – single crochet
Sl St – slip stitch
Finished Size:
These crochet Heart earrings are about 3-1/2″ long.
Yarn:
Crochet cotton thread size #10, color – red, or color of your choice.
Hook & Other Materials:
- US size 8 (1.5 mm) crochet hook
- Bead needle
- Glass seed beads or beads of your choice – optional
- Jump ring (4 or 5 mm) – 4
- Earring hook – 2
- Flat-nosed pliers
- Tapestry needle

Instructions:
For these earrings, you need to make 3 pairs of connected hearts – two pairs of small hearts and one pair of medium and small hearts.
Also, you can make earrings just with two pairs of connected small hearts (see the images at the end of this post).

Pair of two small hearts – make 2
First Heart:
Ch 4;
Rnd 1. Make all of the next stitches into the 4th Ch from hook (the first Ch made) working under both loops – 2 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC (Heart point) , Ch 1, 3 HDC, 3 DC; Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Rnd 2. Ch 3, Sl St in 1st St of previous Rnd,
Ch 34 (you can make this chain longer or shorter),
Second Heart:
Work all of the next stitches into the 4th Ch from hook (work under two loops) – 3 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC, Ch 1, 3 HDC, 3 DC;
Sl St in 2nd Ch from the heart center (see Picture), Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Fasten off. If you have a small hole in the heart center, close it while fastening off.
Pair of medium and small hearts
First Heart (medium):
Ch 4;
Rnd 1. Make all of the next stitches into the 4th Ch from hook (the first Ch made) working under both loops – 3 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC (Heart point), Ch 1, 3 HDC, 3 DC; Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Rnd 2. Ch 3, SC into first St of previous Row, 2 SC into each of next 2 Sts, SC into each of next 3 Sts, SC into next Ch-1 stitch, Ch 1, DC into next St (Heart point),
Ch 1, SC into Ch-1 stitch, SC into each of next 3 Sts, 2 SC into each of next 2 Sts, SC into next St, Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Rnd 3. Ch 3, Sl St in 1st St of previous Rnd,
Ch 38 (you can make this chain longer or shorter),
Second Heart (small):
Work all of the next stitches into the 4th Ch from hook (work under two loops) – 3 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC, Ch 1, 3 HDC, 2 DC, Sl St in 2nd Ch from the heart center (see Picture above), Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Fasten off. If you have a small hole in the center, close it while fastening off.
Using bead needle and sewing thread, sew beads onto both sides of the hearts.
Assembling:
Use flat-nosed pliers to open and close jump rings.
Open first jump ring and slip it under two strands of the approximately 10th-12th chain of each pair of hearts, close it.
Open the second jump ring, add first jump ring with crocheted hearts and ear wire.
Close the second jump ring.
