This crochet Ladybug Gnome will make an adorable ornament, applique, or embellishment for those who love gnomes and ladybugs.
Both the ladybugs and gnomes are symbols of good luck. Some people believe that when a ladybug lands on you, it brings you good luck and if you make a wish, this wish will come true.
If you are among those who believe in gnome’s magic and ladybug’s power, this project is for you!

This crochet Ladybug Gnome design is based on my original pattern for the Christmas gnome. The cap is embellished with small black buttons that represent the ladybug’s spots.
The crochet Ladybug Gnome design (as well as my previously designed gnomes) is based on heart elements – the gnome’s cap, beard, and body are made from heart shapes.
You can use this gnome for embellishment, home decoration, or you can also crochet a bunch of them and make a garland.
Here are my other heart gnomes: Valentine’s Day gnome, St. Patrick’s Day gnome, Easter gnome, Graduation gnome, Patriotic gnome, and Lilac gnome. All gnome designs can be found in the post Crochet Heart Gnome Collection and under the tag Gnome.
