This crochet mini pillow is made from two crocheted panels joined together. The front panel is embellished with crochet lilac flowers. For this project I used my previously designed lilac pattern.

Abbreviations:
Ch – chain
DC – double crochet
FLO – front loop only
HDC – half double crochet
Rnd – round

This crochet mini pillow is about 3.5” x 4.5”
Yarn:
For the pillow – medium weight #4 yarn. Colors: white (A), purple (B)
For the lilac flowers – crochet cotton size #10. I used Knit Picks Curio cotton thread size #10, colors – heliotrope (C), canary (D).
Hook and other materials:
- Crochet hook G/4 mm
- Crochet hook 8/1.5 mm
- Yarn needle
- Poly-fil stuffing
- Sewing needle

With medium weight #4 yarn Color A and crochet hook G/4 mm, Ch 17;
Row 1. SC in 2nd Ch from hook and in each Ch to the end. Total – 16 SC. Ch 1 and turn.
Row 2 – 15. Working in FLO, SC in each St across. Ch 1 and turn.
Row 16. Working in FLO, SC in each St across. Fasten off.
Back Panel
With medium weight #4 cotton yarn Color B and crochet hook G/4 mm, Ch 17;
follow the instructions for the front panel Rows 1-16.
We will assemble the pillow later on as it is easier to embellish it BEFORE the two parts are joined together.
Lilac Flower – make 10 or as many as you would like
Use crochet hook size 8/1.5 mm, Color C for the petals and Color D for the center.

Finishing
1. Sew lilac flowers on the front panel of the pillow.
2. Assemble the pillow – hold two parts together and with Color B, single crochet around all four sides, working 3 SC in each corner. Leave 2” open at the end, add a small amount of stuffing (do not overstuff!), and single crochet to close.
