This crochet Oak Tree Branch wall art is another attempt to capture the beautiful Fall season with threads and hook. To create this crochet wall art, you need to crochet a tree branch, oak leaves and acorns.

To create this Oak Tree Branch crochet wall art you need to crochet appliques for the tree branch and oak leaves, also you need to crochet acorns.
After each item has been made, you arrange them on your canvas and then secure them in place using a hot glue gun.

Materials I used:
For the Tree branch:
Brown crochet cotton threads size 3. I crocheted a tree branch with two strands.
For the Oak Leaves:
Crochet cotton threads size #10, color – copper mist
Crochet cotton threads size #10, color – russet
Crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm
Also, I used 16 x 20 canvas and a Glue Gun.

Patterns I used
For the Tree Branch, I used my pattern for the Cherry Tree Branch. It is available in my Etsy shop and Ravelry shop.

How to Crochet Acorns
Materials:
Acorn Bottom
Crochet cotton threads size #10, color – copper mist
Crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm
Poly-fil – a small amount
Acorn Cap and Stem
Brown crochet cotton threads size 3
Crochet hook size 1/2.75 mm
Finished Size:
Acorn is about 1-1/2” with a Stem.
Instructions:
Note: Beginning Ch 1 doesn’t count as a stitch.
Bottom
With crochet cotton thread size #10 and hook 6/1.8mm, make magic ring.
Rnd 1. Ch 1, 7 SC in ring, join with Sl St to first SC – 7 SC.
Rnd 2. Ch 1, *2 HDC in first St, *HDC in next, 2 HDC in next – repeat from * around, join with Sl St to first HDC – 11 HDC.
Rnd 3. Ch 1, SC in each St around, join with Sl St to first SC – 11 SC.
Rnd 4 – Rnd 7. Repeat Rnd 3.
Pull beginning tail to draw the loop tightly closed. Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Cap
With crochet thread size 3 and hook 2.75 mm, make magic ring.
Rnd 1. Ch 1, 7 SC in ring, join with Sl St to first SC – 7 SC.
Rnd 2. Ch 1, HDC in 1st, *2 HDC in next, HDC in next – repeat from * around, join with Sl St to first HDC – 10 HDC.
Pull beginning tail to draw the loop tightly closed. Fasten off.
Fasten off the second end leaving 6” long tail. We will use it later to sew the Cap to the Acorn.
Stem
With crochet thread size 3 and hook 2.75 mm, Ch 6.
Row 1. Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook and in next 4. Fasten off one tail, leave 6” long second tail. We will use it later to sew Stem to the Cap.
Finishing
Stitch Stem into place on the top of the Acorn Cap.
Stuff Acorn with poly-fil. Using long tail from the Acorn Cap, sew the Cap on top of the Acorn.
After you have made all pieces, arrange them on the canvas anyway that you wish and then secure them in place with your hot glue gun.
