DC – double crochet

Finished Size:
This surprised face is about 3-1/4″ (8 cm).
Materials:
- worsted medium weight yarn, color – yellow
- crochet hook H/8-5.00 mm or I/9-5.50 mm
- cotton crochet thread size 10, color – white
- cotton crochet thread size 10, color – black
- crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm

1. With yellow worsted medium weight yarn and crochet hook H/8-5.00 mm or I/9-5.50 mm make a Large Heart for the face (follow the Instructions for the face with Heart Eyes).
2. Make big eyes.
Big Eye – make 2
With black crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm, make an adjustable ring.
Rnd 1. Ch 2, 11 HDC into the ring, draw the loop closed. To make it easier to do, first untwist the tail and then pull the tail to draw the loop tightly closed. Join with Sl St in top of Ch 2.
Rnd 2. Join white color. Ch 2, 2 HDC into each St of previous Rnd, join with Sl St in top of Ch 2.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
3. With black crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm, make eyebrows.
Eyebrow – make 2
Ch 7, working in a back rib of chain, Sl St in 2 nd Ch and into each Ch to the end.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
4. With black crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm, make a closed mouth.
Closed Mouth
Ch 8, working in a back ridge – SC into 2nd Ch from the hook and into each Ch to the end.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Finishing
Sew Eyes, Eyebrows, and Mouth onto the Face.
