Row 2. Ch 3 (counts as first DC), DC in first St, 2 DC in each of next 6 Sts (last 2 DC work into top of Ch 3 at beginning of previous row) – 14 DC total. Turn.
Row 3. Ch 3 (counts as first DC), DC in first St, **DC in next St, 2 DC in next St**, repeat from ** to ** to the end of row – 5 more times, DC into top of Ch 3 at beginning of previous row – 21 DC total. Turn.
Row 4. Ch 3 (counts as first DC), DC in first St, **DC in next 2 St, 2 DC in next St**, repeat from ** to ** to the end of row – 5 more times, DC in next St and into top of Ch 3 at beginning of previous row – 28 DC total.
Continue working along straight edge ( make 2 SC in each row-end DC) – Ch 1, make 8 SC in first 4 row-end Sts, 2 SC in magic ring, 8 SC in next 4 row-end Sts – 18 SC. Fasten off.
Join color B to the first St of the straight edge, Ch 4, Sl St in 3rd Ch from hook, *SC in each of four next, Ch 3, Sl St in 3rd Ch from hook*, repeat from * to* to the end, SC into last St – 5 picot. Fasten off.
Join color C to the top of the umbrella, Ch 4, Sl St in 2nd and in next, skip last, Sl St in same place where you joined. Fasten off.
