Flamingo Love Crochet Wall Art

I made this beautiful Flamingo Love crochet wall art to add some romantic home decoration to our house for Valentine’s Day. This wall art will make an excellent gift to your loved ones as well!

This idea of two crochet heart-shaped flamingoes can also be used as an applique for different embellishments. You can use it to embellish blankets, clothes, pillows, etc.

For this Flamingo Love crochet wall art I used a previously designed pattern for the heart-shaped Flamingo. Since it was published, this pattern is one of the most popular on my website and this popularity has not diminished over time.

How to Make the Flamingo Love Crochet Wall Art

To create this Flamingo Love crochet wall art you need to crochet two flamingoes and then glue them to the canvas.

Materials I used:

Aunt Lydia’s crochet cotton thread size 10, color French Rose

Crochet hook size 1.8 mm

Tiny seed beads for the eyes

For the background I’ve used  8 x 8 canvas

Small heart-shaped buttons

Glue Gun

Directions:

1. Crochet two flamingo appliques. While crocheting the second flamingo, make it facing the opposite direction.  To do that, before sewing the neck flamingo to the body, turn the pieces with wrong side up.

2. Block your flamingoes to proper shape.

3. Using a hot glue gun, glue the appliques to the canvas and add small heart-shaped buttons if you wish.

4. Hang it up on the wall and enjoy it!
