Although I designed this scarf for men, it can be made for anyone! I made this scarf for my husband but I love it so much that now I am thinking about making another matching scarf for myself.
This scarf is warm and has a nice texture. It is made using a combination of two colors and you will need only one skein of each color.
You can make this scarf using the same colors that I used. Or you can make it using your man’s favorite colors, colors of his favorite football team, college, etc.
Crochet scarves are a great handmade gift idea for men for birthdays, Father’s Day or Christmas.

Fasten off. You don’t need to weave in the ends – leave them as parts of the fringe.
Make fringe
- Cut yarn in 13” strands.
2. Use one strand for each fringe with colors matching the colors of the scarf’s rows, fold in half.
3. Attach fringe – insert hook through the end stitch, grab the middle of the folded strand of yarn with the hook and draw the loop.
4. Keeping the hook inserted through the loop, grab two loose ends of the fringe, draw them through the loop and tighten.
5. Lay the scarf flat on a hard surface and trim the ends of the fringe so that they are even.

Hi JoAnn, thank you so much for your kind words! I have youtube channel but I don’t have many videos on it. If you would like to check it out – here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6hXWBlhTUCxb8K2x_SVioA. Making video tutorials take a lot of time and effort that I don’t have right now. I am sorry about that.

Hi!
I just found out your website. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing design! The pattern also easy to follow, i really appreciate it.
And i have a question. Is it okay to sell the final product that i made based on your pattern? Because my friend said he want to have similar scarf, so he asked me to make one.
(P.s: sorry for my bad english)
GoldenLucyCrafts says
Hi Rosy, I am glad to hear that you like my patterns. Yes, you can sell items made from my pattern. Thank you for asking!
Brook says
Sorry if this comment shows up twice, I wasn’t sure if it went through. I love your patterns! Do you know how I could alter this for a bulky weight yarn? Also do you have the dimensions for the scarf? Thank you!
GoldenLucyCrafts says
Hi Brook, sorry I couldn’t reply to your comment sooner. I personally haven’t tried to make this scarf with bulky yarn, but it can be done. My scarf is about 8-1/2” x 74”. The scarf works lengthwise. The foundation chain for this pattern consists of a multiple of 2. To adjust the length, you need to start with fewer chains, just make sure that the starting chain number is a multiple of 2. If you want to adjust the width, you need to have fewer rows. I am not sure how wide you want your scarf to be, but you can skip rows 6, 16 and 23. If you have more questions, send me an email at [email protected]
