Ch – chain
DC – double crochet
HDC – half double crochet
SC- single crochet
Sl St – slip stitch

Crochet cotton thread size 10, colors – red, pink, green, brown

Cherry – make 3
With red color, crochet Heart for the Cherry.
Ch 4;
Rnd 1. Make all of the next stitches into the fourth Ch from hook (the first Ch made) working under both loops – 3 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC (Heart point), Ch 1, 3 HDC, 3 DC; Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Rnd 2. Ch 3, SC in first St, 2 SC in each of next 2 Sts, SC in each of next 3 Sts, SC in next Ch-1 stitch, Ch 1, DC in next St (Heart point), Ch 1, SC in Ch-1 stitch, SC in each of next 3 Sts, 2 SC in each of next 2 Sts, SC in next St, Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Fasten off.
Leaves
With green color, Ch 23;
Rnd 1. Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook, *SC in each of next 2 Chs, HDC in each of next 2 Chs, DC in each of next 3 Chs, HDC in each of next 2 Chs, Sl St in each of next 2 Chs, HDC in each of next 2 Chs, DC in each of next 3 Chs, HDC in each of next 2 Chs, SC in each of next 2 Chs*, 3 SC in next (last ) Ch;
working on opposite side of Ch, repeat from * to * one more time, Sl St to join.
Fasten off.
Stem
With brown color, Ch 12, Sl St to the center point between two leaves, Ch 12 – you’ve made two stems.
Leave tails on the both ends of the stems about 4-5” long.
For the third stem – Ch 12, Sl St to the center point.
Finishing
Using saved tails, sew cherries to the stems. Fasten off.

I was born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan….Cherry Capital of the World! I now live outside of TC and tend to avoid the TC area during the big Cherry Festival week. The crowds are unbelievable!!
