These crochet Radish, Carrot, and Pea appliques were designed after I spent a beautiful day in my garden planting different vegetables. Gardening is my other hobby, I love to grow my own food and during Spring and Summer I spend a lot of time in my backyard.

While working in my garden, I realized that in my applique collection I already have a crochet Strawberry applique and Cherry applique, but I don’t have any veggies. So, I had to correct that and create some vegetable appliques.
These crochet Radish, Carrot and Pea appliques will make a beautiful embellishment for your kitchen items (towels, potholders, placemats or napkins), you can use them to decorate your market bag or, you can make a crochet veggies garland.
You can also embellish your kid’s items to remind them to eat their veggies!
I made my appliques small (I used crochet cotton thread size 10) as I wanted to use them for small kitchen wall décor. I found an old picture frame and glued my appliques to it. You can find more of my crochet wall arts here.
For your crochet Veggies appliques, depending on their purpose, you are welcome to experiment with different yarn weights and hooks to achieve different sizes for your own personal uses.
