Materials I used:
Red Heart medium weight #4 yarn,
Crochet hook size H-8/5 mm
Brown craft clothespins
Instructions:
1. Make reindeer appliques and block all the pieces as necessary.
For my garland, I’ve made a total of six appliques. You can always make your garland shorter or longer and adjust the number of pieces as needed.
The pattern I used for this project:
For this crochet Reindeer garland I used my pattern for the crochet Reindeer applique.
The pattern for this crochet Reindeer is also available as a print-friendly PDF. You can get it from my Etsy Shop.

2. Making a garland.
You have a couple of options on how to make the garland. One option is to crochet a chain and join each piece to the chain with a single crochet evenly.
You can also crochet a chain first and then carefully sew each piece to the string. Or you can use small 1-inch crafts clothespins to hang pieces as I did.
The length of the chain depends on how long you want your garland to be. My chain is about 50 inches long.
Leave on each end about 5-7 inches for tying the garland, then arrange the pieces.
After you attached your reindeers, sew small red pompoms to the crochet chain in the spaces between them.
Your garland is now complete!

I hope you enjoyed this crochet reindeer garland idea!
Happy Crocheting!
