Ch 4;
Rnd 1. Make all of the next stitches into the fourth Ch from hook (the first Ch made) working under both loops – 3 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC (Heart point), Ch 1, 3 HDC, 3 DC; Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Rnd 2. Ch 3, in top of first St of previous Row make HDC and DC, 3 DC in next St, 2 DC in next St, DC in each of next 3 Sts, HDC in Ch 1, Ch 1, DC in next St (Heart point), Ch 1, HDC in Ch 1, DC in each of next 3 Sts, 2 DC in next St, 3 DC in next St, DC and HDC in next St, Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Rnd 3. Ch 3, HDC in top of first St of previous round, 2 HDC in each of next 5 Sts, HDC in each of the next 5 Sts, skip Ch 1, 3 HDC in next St (Heart point), skip Ch 1, HDC in each of the next 5 Sts, 2 HDC in each of next 5 Sts, HDC in next St, Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Rnd 4. Ch 3, Sl St in top of first St of prev Rnd, *Ch 2, Sl St in next St* – around until last St, Sl St in last St, Sl St in first Ch of Ch 3 at the end of last Rnd. Fasten off. If you have a small hole in the center, close it while fastening off the beginning end.

First Ear – Ch 6, Sl St in 2nd Ch, SC in next Ch, HDC2tog, SC in last Ch, Sl St in top of last DC,
continue working in 4th Ch – DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC (Heart point), Ch 1, 3 HDC, 2 DC,
Second Ear – Ch 5, Sl St in 2nd Ch, SC in next Ch, 2 HDC in next Ch, SC in next Ch, Sl St in top of last DC,
continue working in 4th Ch – DC, Ch 3, Sl St.
Fasten off. If you have a small hole in the center, close it while fastening off the beginning end.
Legs
Ch 23,
Row 1. Sl St in 2nd Ch, HDC2tog – twice, SC in each of next 5 Chs, 2 SC in each of next 2 Chs, SC in each of next 5 Chs, HDC2tog – twice, Sl St in last Ch. Fasten off.
Finishing:
Sew Head and Legs on the Sheep’s body
Sew on buttons for the eyes or you can embroider them.
