This crochet Mini Bow is another heart-shaped project – it is made with two connected hearts. I’ve crocheted this bow with a cotton thread size 10 and it turned out really small – only about 1”.

This crochet mini Bow would be perfect for such projects as scrapbooking and card making.
You can use these bows to embellish baby clothes or a baby blanket, decorate picture frames, or photo albums.
I used this crochet small Bow to embellish my Crafter Granny, Happy Shamrock, Snail applique, Heart Bunny, Tooth Fairy Pouch, Tooth applique, and Sheep applique.

Ch 5,
Working under one loop of Chain, SC into the second chain from hook and into each of next 2 Chs.
First Heart: all next Sts work into next (last) Ch and under two loops of Chain – 3 HDC, 3 DC, Ch 3, Sl St, Ch 3, 3 DC, 3 HDC.
Now you are working under two loop on the opposite side of the Chain: SC into each of next 2 Chs.
Second Heart: all next Sts work into next (last) Ch – 3 HDC, 3 DC, Ch 3, Sl St, Ch 3, 3 DC, 3 HDC, Sl St into next St.
Cut the thread leaving a 10-13” tail, pull it through the last stitch and thread it into a tapestry needle. Bring the thread to the center of the bow and wrap it around 8-10 times.
Secure and weave in the ends. If you have a small holes in the center of the hearts, close them while fastening off the ends.
You can make these bows in two colors.
Make the bow according to instructions with the first color, but do not make the center of the bow.
Secure and weave in the ends.
Thread a second color crochet thread into a needle, make a little knot on the end and bring the needle through the center from the back of the bow to the front. Wrap it around 8-10 times.
Weave in the end.
Here are three bows made from different yarns.
The large bow was made with medium-weight #4 worsted yarn, the medium bow was made with light weight #3 yarn, and the small bow was made with crochet thread size 10.
