With Color A, make Cat appliques.

Tree Branch
With Color B, Ch 60,
Row 1. Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook and in next Ch, SC in each of next 9 Chs, SC2tog, SC in each of next 4 Chs,
Small Branch 1 – Ch 10, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook and in next Ch, SC in each of next 3 Chs, 2 SC in next Ch, SC in each of next 2 Chs, 2 SC in last Ch;
Continue working into main chain: SC in each of next 33 Chs,
Small Branch 2 – Ch 10, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook and in next Ch, SC in each of next 6 Chs, 2 SC in last Ch;
Continue working into main chain: SC in each of next 9 Chs.
Fasten off.
Moon
The Moon is worked in continuous rounds. Use stitch marker to mark first stitch of each round.
With Color C, make magic ring,
Rnd 1. Ch 1, 6 SC in ring, do not join the round. Total – 6 SC.
Rnd 2. 2 SC in each St of previous round. Mark the first SC in this round with a stitch marker. Move the marker with each new round. Total – 12 SC.
Rnd 3. *2 SC in next St, SC in next St*. Repeat from * to * to the end of the round. Total – 18 SC.
Rnd 4. *2 SC in next St, SC in each of the next 2 Sts*. Repeat from * to * to the end of the round. Total – 24 SC.
Rnd 5. *2 SC in next St, SC in each of the next 3 Sts*. Repeat from * to * to the end of the round. Total – 30 SC.
Rnd 6. SC in each of next 2 Sts, *2SC in next St, SC in each of the next 4 Sts*. Repeat from * to * to the end of the round until two stitches remain unworked, SC in each of those 2 Sts. Total – 36 SC.
Rnd 7. *2 SC in next St, SC in each of the next 5 Sts*. Repeat from * to * to the end of the round. Total – 42 SC.

Finishing
Block and shape your appliques.
For the Cats in Love – make one cat in black color, another cat in white color, sew on their tails with opposite sides up and intertwine them.
For the Parent and Child Cats – to make a large cat, use medium weight #4 cotton yarn and crochet hook H/8 – 5 mm.
