This crochet dog headband is another accessory I made for our dog Lucy. Lucy is an adorable Golden Retriever and the inspiration for my website’s name.
From my other project I had remaining a crochet pink flower, so I decided to make this simple and quick headband.
In addition to flower embellishment, I made two small hearts to sew them on both sides of the flower. These hearts symbolize the love we share for each other.

This dog headband will make a beautiful photo prop, it also will make a wonderful gift for other pet lovers in your life!
This headband is easy to make and is an ideal project for beginners. It is also a wonderful stash buster project as it requires a very small amount of yarn.
Lucy is a large sized dog – about 62 pounds, so I sized the band to fit her. But this pattern can be easily adapted to any size.
This headband can also be worn in 2 ways – as a headband or as a collar. If your dog doesn’t like to wear anything on his head, the headband can be worn around your dog’s neck as a decorative collar.
