How to Make the Bleeding Heart Flower Crochet Wall Art
To create this Bleeding Heart crochet wall art you need to crochet a bleeding heart flower applique and then glue it to the canvas.
Materials I used:
- Patons Grace light weight #3 cotton yarn. Colors – lotus, snow, ginger
- Crochet hook C/2.75 mm
- Sewing needle
- Matching sewing thread
- Acrylic paint – white color
- For the background I’ve used 9 x 12” canvas
- Glue gun
Directions:
1. Paint a blank white canvas with white acrylic paint. (I didn’t do it for my previous projects, but recently I learned that if the canvas is painted, the paint creates a layer that seals the canvas fibers. This prevents from dirt going into them and makes it easier to clean).
2. Crochet the bleeding heart flower applique and block it.
