The lilac is such a beautiful flower and I love it especially for its amazing fragrance. Lilacs bloom only for a couple of weeks during spring at the same time as we celebrate Mother’s Day.
The lilac also is my mom’s favorite, so I designed these small crochet lilac flowers to embellish a Mother’s Day card. More card ideas can be found in this post: DIY Mother’s Day Cards Embellished with Crochet Appliques.

A card with lilac flowers is perfect not only for Mother’s Day but also for birthdays.
If you know somebody who celebrates their birthdays during a lilac blooming season or somebody who just loves lilacs – make for them this beautiful card with crocheted lilac flowers!
I also created a few Mother’s Day designs and incorporated crocheted lilac flowers into them. Here are my Mother’s Day lilac projects: crochet Mother’s Day Lilac Gnome and crochet Mother’s Day heart ornament.

What do you mean when you say ‘ DC in ring’. Does that mean to DC in the first stitch?
GoldenLucyCrafts says
As you start with a magic ring, “DC in ring” means that you are making DC in a magic ring.

These are very realistic. I think I may make several to attach to a hairclip or jewelry pin. They might also look nice as earrings!
