This Mother’s Day picture frame embellished with crochet flowers will make a wonderful present for your mom or grandma. With the magic of your crochet hook, you can transform a plain picture frame into a unique and thoughtful gift!

For this project you can use any picture frame you like. The frame shown in my pictures is one I bought a couple of years ago at Michaels with exactly the same idea in mind. I was really happy with how the idea turned out!
To complete this project, you only need to crochet some flowers and then glue them to the frame.
You can choose you or your mom’s favorite flowers, or use the same crochet Lavender and Dogwood flowers as I did. You will find links to the patterns below.
As an example I’ve made two frames – one with a quote about mom, embellished with crochet lavender flowers and another with photo of baby and mom hands, embellished with crochet dogwood flowers.

Although I made this frame for Mother’s Day, it also can be made for any other occasion such as for weddings, anniversaries or birthdays.

Materials you will need:
- 5″ x 7″ Picture frame ( or size of your choice)
- Hot glue gun
- Crocheted flowers of your choice
- Printed picture or quote

Directions:
- Crochet flowers of your choice. You can use the same flowers as I did. These patterns are free and available on my blog: crochet Lavender pattern, crochet Dogwood pattern. More flowers can be found HERE.
2. Using hot glue gun, glue flowers to the frame.
That’s it! You project complete!
