Ch 5, join with Sl St to form a ring.
Rnd 1. Ch 5 (counts as first DC and 2-Ch sp, now and throughout), [3 DC in ring, Ch 2] 3 times, 2 DC in ring, join with Sl St to 3rd Ch of Ch 5 in the beginning. Total – 12 DC.

Rnd 3. Sl St in next Ch, Ch 5, 2 DC in Ch-2 sp, DC in each of next 7 Sts, [(2 DC, Ch 2, 2 DC) in next Ch-2 sp, DC in each of next 7 Sts] 3 times, DC in sp before Ch 5, join with Sl St to 3rd Ch of Ch 5. Total – 44 DC and 4 Ch-2 sps.

Rnd 5. Sl St in next Ch, Ch 5, 2 DC in Ch-2 sp, DC in each of next 15 Sts, [(2 DC, Ch 2, 2 DC) in next Ch-2 sp, DC in each of next 15 Sts] 3 times, DC in sp before Ch 5, join with Sl St to 3rd Ch of Ch 5. Total – 76 DC and 4 Ch-2 sps.
Rnd 6. Sl St in next Ch, Ch 5, 2 DC in Ch-2 sp, DC in each of next 19 Sts, [(2 DC, Ch 2, 2 DC) in next Ch-2 sp, DC in each of next 19 Sts] 3 times, DC in sp before Ch 5, join with Sl St to 3rd Ch of Ch 5 in the beginning – 92 DC and 4 Ch-2 sps. Fasten off.
Fold three corners to the center and sew them together (I sewed only the corners, not the sides). This will create a small, unsealed envelope.
Blocking
If you used 100% cotton thread, you can use an iron to block your envelope. (Do not use an iron if you used acrylic yarn – it will melt!) Place a slightly damp cloth on top of your crocheted envelope. Lightly press cloth with a hot iron.
Lavender flower
For my envelope, I made 6 lavender flowers. Feel free to make more or less as desired.
Use crochet hook 6/1.8 mm and cotton crochet thread size 10.

Assembling
Arrange the lavender flowers in the envelope. You can use a glue gun to glue the flowers in place, or you can sew the flowers on.
