Fold three corners to the center and sew them together (I sewed only corners, not the sides). This will create a small, unsealed envelope.
Blocking
If you used 100% cotton thread, you can use an iron to block your envelope. (Do not use an iron if you used acrylic yarn – it will melt!) Place a slightly damp cloth on top of your crocheted envelope. Lightly press the cloth with a hot iron.
Heart for the Envelope Seal
Use crochet hook 6/1.8 mm and crochet cotton thread size 10 in red.
Instructions for the heart can be found in this post (follow the instructions for the medium size heart): Crochet Hearts in 3 Sizes.
Heart Balloon – make 3
Use crochet hook 6/1.8 mm and crochet cotton thread size 10 in red and cream.
Instructions for the heart balloon can be found in this post: Crochet Heart Balloon Pattern
Small Heart for the envelope with hearts popping out of it
Use crochet hook 6/1.8 mm and crochet cotton thread size 10 in red.
Instructions for the heart can be found in this post (follow the instructions for the small size heart): Crochet Hearts in 3 Sizes.
