These crochet shamrock earrings will make a beautiful accessory for your St. Patrick’s Day celebration. The shamrock leaf is made from individual hearts and embellished with green beads.
I created these crochet shamrock earrings using a pattern I designed earlier for the shamrock applique. You will be able to find the link in the “Pattern I used” section below.

Finished Size:
Earrings are about 2-1/2” long
Materials:
- Aunt Lydia’s crochet thread size 10, colors – green
- Crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm or 8/1.5 mm
- Sewing needle
- Matching sewing threads
- Green beads of your choice – 6
- Beading needle
- Flat nose pliers
- Jump ring (5 mm) – 2
- Earring hook – 2
- Spray starch

Shamrock – make 2
Pattern I used:
For the shamrock, I used a previously designed pattern for the heart shamrock applique.

Finishing:
Spray shamrocks with starch, shape them and let them dry.
Sew on beads.
Assembling the earring
Use flat nose pliers to open and close jump rings.
1. Open the jump ring and slip it under two strands of the shamrock.
2. Slide onto the jump ring the ear wire, and then close it.
Your first earring is complete. Repeat all the steps for the second one.
