Instructions:
To make this ornament, we will need to crochet a heart for the base and a black-eyed Susan flower. Then, sew flower and decorative buttons onto the heart base.

Heart
With two strands held together in green color and crochet hook size J-10/6 mm, make magic ring;
Round 1. Ch 3, make all of the next stitches into the ring – 3 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC (Heart point), Ch 1, 3 HDC, 3 DC; Ch 3, Sl St in ring. Tighten the magic ring, but do not close it completely.
Round 2. Ch 3, (HDC, DC) in first St, 3 TR in next St, 2 DC in next St, HDC in each of next 3 Sts, HDC in Ch-1, (HDC, DC, HDC) in next St (Heart point), HDC in Ch-1, HDC in each of next 3 Sts, 2 DC in next St, 3 TR in next St, (DC, HDC) in next St, Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Round 3. Ch 3, HDC in first St, 2 HDC in each of next 5 Sts, HDC in each of the next 6 Sts, (HDC, DC, HDC) in next St (Heart point), HDC in each of the next 6 Sts, 2 HDC in each of next 5 Sts, HDC in next St, Ch 4, Sl St in center. Fasten off. Cut off the yarn leaving 7-8” (18-20 cm) tail.
Make a hanging loop by using two yarn ends.
Close and secure the magic ring.
Black-eyed Susan Flower
Using a crochet hook size E/3.5 mm and medium-weight #4 yarn, make a flower by following the instructions provided HERE.
Finishing
Sew the black-eyed Susan flower onto the heart. Then, sew on (or glue on using a hot glue gun) the bee and flower buttons.
