Yarn:
- Medium weight #4 yarn, two strands held together, colors – yellow, white. I used Impeccable by Loops & Threads
- Light weight yarn #3, color – green, white. I used Patons Grace cotton yarn

- Crochet hook 7/4.5 mm
- Crochet hook size 1/2.75 mm
- Black embroidery floss
- Sewing needle

Heart
With two strands of medium weight #4 yarn in yellow held together and crochet hook size J-10/6 mm, make magic ring;
Round 1. Ch 3, make all of the next stitches into the ring – 3 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC (Heart point), Ch 1, 3 HDC, 3 DC; Ch 3, Sl St in ring.
Round 2. Ch 3, (HDC, DC) in first St, 3 TR in next St, 2 DC in next St, HDC in each of next 3 Sts, HDC in Ch-1 stitch, (HDC, DC, HDC) in next St (Heart point), HDC in Ch-1 stitch, HDC in each of next 3 Sts, 2 DC in next St, 3 TR in next St, (DC, HDC) in next St, Ch 3, Sl St in center.
Round 3. Ch 3, HDC in first St, 2 HDC in each of next 5 Sts, HDC in each of the next 6 Sts, (HDC, DC, HDC) in next St (Heart point), HDC in each of the next 6 Sts, 2 HDC in each of next 5 Sts, HDC in next St, Ch 4, Sl St in center. Cut off leaving about 6”- 8” yarn ends to make a hanging loop. Secure and fasten off beginning end.
Bunny
With hook size 2.75 mm and yarn light weight #3 in white, make magic ring;
Round 1. Ch 3 (counts as first DC), 12 DC in ring, draw the loop closed, join with Sl St in top of Ch 3. Total – 13 Sts.
Round 2. Ch 1, SC in same St, SC in next St, *2 SC in next St, SC in each of next 2 Sts*, repeat from * to * 3 more times (work last SC in Sl St at the end of previous round). Join with Sl St in top of first SC. Total – 18 Sts.
Round 3. Ch 1, SC in same St, SC in next St, *2 SC in next St, SC in each of next 2 Sts*, repeat from * to * 4 more times, 2 SC in next St, SC in last St (work last SC in Sl St at the end of previous round). Join with Sl St in top of first SC. Total – 25 Sts.
Head. Ch 3, TR into same St, 3 TR into next St.
Ears. *Ch 5, DTR into the top of the last TR of the Head, Ch 5, Sl St in same spot*. Repeat from * to * one more time for the second Ear. Fasten off.
Tail. With crochet hook size 4.5 mm, join white worsted weight #4 yarn where you want to place the tail, Ch 3, DC into same St, Ch 1, Sl St into same St. Fasten off. Weave in the ends.
Using black embroidery floss, embroider the eye.
Grass
With hook size 2.75 mm and light weight #3 yarn in green, Ch 16,
Row 1. SC in 2nd Ch from hook and in each Ch to the end. Total – 15 SC. Turn.
Row 2. *Ch 6, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook and in next 4, Sl St in next 2 Sts of Row 1, Ch 4, Sl St in 2nd Ch and in next 2, Sl St in next 2 Sts of Row 1*, repeat from * to * 2 more times, Ch 6, Sl St in 2nd Ch and in next 4, Sl St in next 2 Sts of Row 1. Fasten off. Weave in the ends.
Finishing
Using saved yarn ends, make a hanging loop.
With a sewing needle and matching sewing threads, sew bunny, grass and button onto the heart.
