Lavender is an incredibly beautiful plant and the view of the lavender field is amazing! In these posts you will find my other lavender projects and pictures of lavender fields as well: crochet Lavender Flower, crochet Lavender Bookmark, crochet Lavender Envelope, and Lavender and Bees wall art.
This crochet Lavender Gnome is based on my original pattern for the Valentine’s Day Gnome. The gnome is holding in his hand crocheted lavender flowers. All pattern links can be found in the Pattern I Used section below.
The crochet Lavender Gnome (as well as my previously designed gnomes) is made from heart shapes and embellished with small bee buttons.
Here are my other heart gnomes you may like: Christmas gnome, St. Patrick’s Day gnome, Easter gnome, Graduation gnome, Patriotic gnome, Gingerbread gnome, and Lilac gnome. All gnome designs can be found in the post Crochet Heart Gnome Collection and under the tag Gnome.

Other materials:
Decorative buttons: I like to purchase my buttons on Etsy. Here are the buttons I used: Mini Bee Buttons.
You will also need a sewing needle, matching sewing threads, a hot glue gun, and a craft cutter to remove the shanks.
Instructions:
1. Make gnome and lavender flowers.
Patterns I used:
For my gnome, I used a previously designed pattern crochet Valentine’s Day gnome. A video tutorial for this heart gnome is available on my YouTube channel HERE.
For the lavender, I also used previously designed pattern crochet Lavender. If you prefer a video tutorial, the lavender video it is available HERE.
These patterns are also available as print-friendly, styled, and advertisement-free PDF files. You can get them from my Etsy shop: Gnome crochet pattern, Lavender crochet pattern.
2. Sew the lavender flowers into the gnome’s arm.
3. Embellish your lavender gnome with bee buttons. If your buttons have shanks, cut the shanks off. Using a hot glue gun, glue the buttons onto the gnome’s cap or beard.
I hope you enjoyed my crochet Lavender Gnome!
Happy Crocheting!

why on the first row of purple flowers you chain 4 but on the other side of the stem you chain only 3 ? is this a misprint or is it correct ? Thank you for an answer.
GoldenLucyCrafts says
It is correct. On first side Ch 4, on opposite side Ch 3. By doing this I am trying to avoid 90 degree angle and trying t make purple flowers slightly lean toward the stem.
