To make this ghost gnome, you will need to crochet a cap, beard, body, and nose, then sew them together. Embellish the gnome with Halloween-themed craft buttons.

Cap
With crochet hook 7/4.5 mm and color A, Ch 15;
Round 1. Working under 2 loops: 3 TR in 5th Ch from hook, DC in each of next 2 Chs, HDC in each of next 2, SC in next, 2 SC in each of next 2, SC in each of next 3, Ch 2,
continue working on opposite side of Chain: Sl St in each of next 3, SC3tog, HDC in each of next 2, DC in each of next 2, 3 TR in last, Ch 4, Sl St in same last. Fasten off.
Beard
With crochet hook 7/4.5 mm and color B, make magic ring,
Round 1. Ch 3, make all of the next stitches into the ring – 3 DC, 3 HDC, Ch 1, DC (Heart point), Ch 1, 3 HDC, 3 DC; Ch 3, Sl St in ring.
Round 2. Ch 3, SC in first St, 2 SC in each of next 2 Sts, SC in each of next 3 Sts, SC in Ch-1 space, Ch 1, DC in next St (Heart point), Ch 1, SC in Ch-1 space, SC in each of next 3 Sts, 2 SC in each of next 2 Sts, SC in next St, Ch 3, Sl St in center. Fasten off.
Body
Row 1. With crochet hook 7/4.5 mm and color A, Ch 4 (counts as Ch 1 + DC),4 DC in 4th Ch from hook, turn. Total – 4 DC.
Row 2. First arm – Ch 7, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook and in each of next 5, 2 SC in first St of previous Row, SC in each of next 3 Sts, 2 SC in last St. Turn. Total – 7 SC.
Row 3. Second arm – Ch 7, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook and in each of next 5, SC in first St of previous Row and in each of next 2, 2 SC in next St, SC in each of next 3 Sts. Turn. Total – 8 SC.
Row 4. Ch 2 (doesn’t count as a St), HDC in first St and in each of next 7 Sts, turn. Total – 8 HDC.
Row 5. Ch 2 (doesn’t count as a St), HDC in first St and in each of next 7 Sts, turn. Total – 8 HDC.
Row 6. Ch 3, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook, 2 HDC in first St, Sl St in next St, 2 HDC in each of next 2 Sts, Sl St in next St, 2 HDC in next St, HDC in next St, DC in last St, Ch 2, Sl St in 2nd Ch from hook, Sl St into side of last DC. Fasten off.
Nose
With crochet hook 1/2.75 mm and cotton thread size 3, make magic ring,
Round 1. Ch 2, 9 HDC in ring, join with Sl St to top of Ch 2. Fasten off.
Finishing
Using a sewing needle and matching thread, sew the Body, Beard, Cap, and Nose together. Block applique as necessary.
Embellish your gnome with Halloween-themed buttons: if buttons have shanks, cut the shanks off; using a hot glue gun, glue the buttons on.
