To make this ornament, you’ll need to crochet the base, embroider the clock hands, and attach snowflakes to represent the numbers. Alternatively, you can embroider dots to represent the numbers.

For the snowflakes that represent the clock numbers, I used small snowflake buttons. I love craft buttons and use them in many of my crochet designs.

Finishing
- Weave in all ends and block your ornament.
- Attach a hanging loop to the fist Ch 2 pick of the round 6.
- Using black yarn, embroider the clock hands (embroider over the seam created by Ch 3 at the beginning of the rounds. The hands will hide the unattractive seam).
- You can sew snowflake buttons on or glue them on. To glue buttons on: If your buttons have shanks, using a craft cutter, cut the shanks off. Using a hot glue gun, glue the snowflake buttons to the 4th round to represent clock numbers. Glue the larger snowflake on for the number 12. Glue the snowman on.

Thank you so much for writing all your snow globe variations on your site. I love them as snow globes are a fun idea to give others. This variation is an easier one than the first mini. It is great for a newbie that has to make at least ten of them!
You might want to add a note to your first flat ornament referencing this Title for the new year. I realize you have a note on the other in a general reference but the title helps me find it in my file.
Thank you again! I love your ideas.
